Not so much the bay...but the beach with my toes in the warm sand will be fabulous in 4 DAY....

4th of July Celebrations
July 4th, we were driving home from Fort Benning after having one last breakfast with the whole family. We crashed appropriately on the couches when we got home. Totally exhausted. Finally ventured out and met up with my mom on the square in Lawrenceville for some 4th of July festivities. We waiting in terribly long lines for the girls to "jump" for 3 minutes I think. How crazy! but they had fun. Later we walked from my mom's over the Central Gwinnett to their baseball fields to watch the fire works.
I imagine we would have had some great pictures of the day\night had I taken the camera with me...but this is the ONLY we pictures we managed to take on July 4th....NICE!

Happy Birthday Josh!
July 7th-marked a new year for Josh. He is now offically older than me (I only get to enjoy this for 3 months out of the year!) We went to the YMCA to set up our new fitness stuff. My maximum heartrate was set higher because...well...I'm younger than him :) NICE! We are blessed girls to have a husband and Daddy like him!

Lake Jordan, NC Camping
This past weekend (June 27th-29th) We drove up to Lake Jordan, NC for a family camping trip with my dad, Jean & Jenny (and cotten too). It was hotter than hatties...but we had a great time.
The beach was just a few sites away, so it was easy to walk to. Bathroom was just behind us...again a nice thing. Lucky for us, Jenny new a great ice cream place, "Loco Pops" for a nice refreshing break on Saturday afternoon.
Josh and I headed home on Sunday...less the girls. They stayed in NC for Monday and Tuesday. They are driving home today. (YEA!!) We missed them.

New Glasses
Who though someone could be so excited about getting glasses....well I am! Considering this is the first pair I have bought since 1999, yes you read that right, almost 9 year ago since I had "new" glasses. My eyes appreciate the break.
